Cancellation/No Show Policy

For full booking policies, including cancellations and no shows, please review the terms on our booking site.


Check-in time is 4 p.m. If we wish to have an earlier check-in, let us know your anticipated arrival time. We will do our best to have your room ready.


Check-out time is 11 a.m. If you wish to have a later check-out, please let us know your departure time and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.

Property Damage

SoLo Suites reserves the right to charge the guest the cost of rectifying issues caused by deliberate, negligent or reckless acts that result in damage to the hotel’s property or structures. Should the damages be noticed immediately after the guest’s departure, SoLo Suites reserves the right to charge the guest’s credit card. We will make every effort to rectify the damages prior to any charges to the guest’s credit cards.

In the event that your room requires excessive housekeeping services, a rate of $60/hour will be charged. Excessive cleaning services are required when we discover items like staining of bedding, staining of carpets, excessive garbage and recycling left in the room and food left in the fridge.


Smoking in any SoLo Suites rooms will result in a $200 per incident charge. There is a designated smoking area on the 6th floor rooftop balcony. Smoking includes tobacco, cannabis and vapour products. Please dispose of all butts in designated ashtrays.


SoLo Suites reserves the right to charge a guest $200 penalty for anyone found drinking in the public areas of hotel property. There is no drinking in stairwells, walkways, parking garages and in the courtyard or on the rooftop balcony.

Removal of Hotel Property

SoLo Suites reserves the right to charge the guests the cost of replacing any items that are removed from the property without justification. Should SoLo Suites notice there is an item missing after the guest checks out, we reserve the right to charge the guest’s credit card for the full replacement value of the item or items.


Please respect your neighbours. We have a quiet time from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.


All vehicles must be registered with the office. We share our Grainger parking lot with the neighbouring building, The Waverly. Please only park in the designated yellow-marked spaces in this lot, and do not park in the private parking belonging to The Waverly. All vehicles are parked at the risk of the owner. SoLo Suites shall not assume responsibility or liability of any vehicle occupants, or contents while operated or parked on the hotel property. If a vehicle is left in the hotel parking lot after a guest has departed without written consent of the hotel, the hotel reserves the right to have the vehicle towed at the owner’s expense. There are to be no vehicle repairs on hotel premises.
